The race

Every road ends at a start line, and this one is at home. Lake to Lake joins the two lungs of the city and takes runners out to the Shivalik foothills.

It is held around Independence Day and carries the message of a “Fit, Healthy and United India”. The 2026 edition flagged off 500+ runners from across India, with age-group categories for men and women, including 50+.

Lake to Lake Ultra started as a shared dream between two friends, Amit Chauhan, who chairs the Organising Committee, and Amit Gulia, the Race Director. Read the story
